Premier South Carolina Volleyball Club Grand Strand Juniors Selects Byga as Club Management Technology Partner
LOS ALTOS, CA (November 24th, 2024) – The Byga team is delighted to announce our partnership with Grand Strand Juniors Volleyball.
In its 17 year history, the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina based club has grown from humble beginnings into the successful program that it is today. Much of that success originates from the club's emphasis on creating an optimal environment for players, coaches, and parents.
"When we started GSJ, we believed every kid who would come to us wanted to improve. In the same way we believe every coach wants to be a great coach and a positive influence on a team, and every parent wants to be a great sport parent," says club founder Larry Church. Club leaders Larry Church and Alex Sing identified these obstacles to the club's success and formed a club culture that allowed players to thrive. From Alex Sing: "At GSJ, we pride ourselves in the ability to alleviate that stress on all levels, while creating a safe environment for our athletes to learn and grow as a person and in their volleyball skills."
In recent years, Grand Strand Juniors have reaped the success of that approach. GSJ athletes have earned national recognition in high school which has led to over $2 million in college athletic scholarships throughout the program's history. At a team level, multiple GSJ teams have finished in the top 10 in AAU Nationals in the last several years.
With a dedicated practice facility for top teams, high level coaches, and an environment promoting constant growth and improvement, Grand Strand Juniors are set up for continued achievement. Despite their success, the club never stops looking for ways to improve, on and off the court. That attitude led them to Byga.
